HISTORY

History is everything...

Though some people may deny it, a person's experiences tend to have a direct effect on who they'll be in the future. Everyone deals with their history in a different way, some perpetuating it while others fight to be the opposite, but the fact remains that their past still has an impact on their personalities, for better or worse. Our history is what makes us who we are, whether we like it or not. That is why I embrance my past, and I encourage others to do the same, even if they come from rocky beginnings.

My life has been unique and interesting, with many ups and downs. My childhood wasn't easy, being filled with alcoholism and countless altercations between my mother and father, but I wouldn't change a thing about it because I love my parents and I know they did everything they could to give me a decent life.

I've experienced a lot of darkness, just about every form of abuse you can imagine, and I've seen people I love slowly die from horrible diseases right in front of me, but the old adage stands: what doesn't kill me makes me stronger.

Life hasn't exactly gotten easier as I've progressed, but it has settled down some. Because of the advent of simplified self-publishing I'm finally able to pursure my dream without risking years of searching for the right agent and publisher. I also happen to be engaged to someone who loves me for who I really am, and I'm fully aware of how rare that is.

Every story I write has some element of 'me' in it, so if you are eager to understand the inner workings of what's considered an unbalanced mind (Bi-Polar, Borderling Personality Disorder, and Post-Traumatic Stress) by all means, read on! Or, if you'd rather go the direct route, send me a messgae through the contact page. I'm pretty much an open book, so fire away and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
